Yes—there are other filter options that will physically fit this setup, but we specifically recommend and supply the Baldwin filter for a reason.
The Baldwin filter used in our kit is a nominal 4-micron filter, which is right in line with (or better than) the factory filtration level. Many alternative filters on the market are rated at 9 microns or higher, which allows more contaminants to pass through—something we’re not willing to compromise on when it comes to fuel system protection.
We’ve tested and validated the Baldwin filter with this kit to ensure proper fitment, sealing, and filtration performance. While other options may thread on, we can’t guarantee their filtration efficiency or performance in comparison.
If you’re looking to maintain the level of protection the kit was designed around, we strongly recommend sticking with the Baldwin filter.
